Tender description

Cambridgeshire County Council is commissioning a contract for housing related and social care support to Adult Service Users who have moderate to severe mental health needs. The service will provide a range of support across property types and locations. The Provider will need to provide flexible support to ensure that Service Users are able to access support appropriate to their needs. This includes managing fluctuating support levels, managing the support pathway to step people down to the level of support which maximises their independence and providing an overview of the pathway to enable a smooth transition for Service Users. Cambridgeshire County Council is procuring a block arrangement to meet the core needs of this service. It is expected that the Council will also purchase additional services from the Provider on a spot basis through this Contract. Both elements are included in the estimated value of the procurement. The service will be delivered in a range of properties within Cambridgeshire, as detailed in the service specification. Providers will be expected to work with landlords either through the provision of a Service Level Agreement or other mechanism. There are 120 units available as part of this Tender. The Council is looking for a Provider who is able to deliver additional capacity, for example through additional properties or developments within the pathway. The initial contract period is three (3) years, with the option to extend for a further one (1) year.
