GB-Coalville: Refurbishment of Marlborough Flats, Coalville

Tender description

The Council is looking to appoint a suitably competent Supplier to provide refurbishment Works to the 3-storey building known as Marlborough Flats. The building contains 9 nos. 1-bed flats and is managed by Housing Services as part of the Council's housing stock. Marlborough Flats is located within Coalville town centre at the junction of Owen Street and Jackson Street. Postcode LE67 3LT. This contract involves the remodelling, refurbishment and redecoration of internal communal areas. Externally, it involves the replacement of all windows and external doors; surface treatments to all lead surfaces; a new entrance canopy and limited external groundworks. It is envisaged that all flats will remain occupied at all times and the Supplier will be required to take on the role and responsibilities of Principal Contractor as defined by CDM Regulations 2015 for the duration of the project.
