Direct Payments Support Service Soft Market Test

Tender description

Following a project to co-produce a proposal and specification for a Direct Payment Support Service, Sheffield City Council and its partners now wish to gauge reaction from potential providers and others with an interest in this area. The proposed service will be hosted by an organisation that is independent from the Council and CCG. It will offer a personalised support service to individuals who are using or who are thinking about using Direct Payments to purchase support and care services. It will also be a centre of learning – offering training and development to individuals as well as those working with recipients The draft specification is attached. This soft market testing process does not constitute a formal tender or other competitive bidding process, and will not result in the letting of a Contract.
