Tender description

PRIOR INFORMATION NOTICE This is a prior information notice with future call for competition for provision of a diabetes education service. NHS Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), on behalf of West Leicestershire CCG and East Leicestershire & Rutland CCG is considering the procurement of a Diabetes Structured Education service for a small cohort of patients. Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland (LLR) CCGs are looking for provider(s) to deliver two elements through two separate lots: - making available tailored services for diabetic women planning on becoming pregnant; - developing a course for patients under the age of 18 years with type 2 diabetes The provider(s) will be expected to: - develop a diabetes education course - undertake patient and service user engagement - commence running the face to face education (either through one to one or group education) Estimated value for both lots is circa £200k for six months. The purpose of this PIN is to make providers aware of the CCGs' intent.
