Who Speclialist Work With Specialist will be part of data architecture team working closely with the Enterprise Data Architect. Specialist will be required to work with multiple development teams to develop data models to support development What Specialists Work On Specialist will work on the database modeling supporting multiple development teams to produce the data models. Where the Work Takes Place Westminster, Victoria, Fleet Street Early Market Engagement N/A Working Arrangements We expect the specialist to work collaboratively with existing in house project teams that are transforming the HMPO business processes/applications. Work is based in London and will involve the supplier being on site 5 days per week to work collaboratively with HMPO teams; travel and expenses remains the responsibility of the supplier. Service design and development must align with the HM Passport Office strategic technical architecture and technologies. Work Location Westminster, Victoria, Fleet Street Security Clearance SC clearance is required. HMPO will support the clearance process. Additional T&Cs Breakpoints to assess progress and quality will be set at the end of alpha phase. Skills & Experience Have demonstrable experience of successfully understanding user needs and designing data models to support them. Have demonstrable experience of using Amazon AWS, PostgresSQL RDS, and other open source databases. Have demonstrable experience of successfully delivering digital solutions that collect and manage personal and/or sensitive information with appropriate controls and protection. Design, maintain and develop conceptual, logical and physical data models and ensure that all relevant aspects of data model (granularity, etc.) are taken into account. Translate technical aspects of data modeling into language that non-technical users can understand. Work with both technologists as well as non-technical users with ease and approachability. Nice to Haves Have demonstrable experience of successfully and collaboratively working, coaching and sharing knowledge with Public Sector client teams, particularly those with limited agile development experience. Have demonstrable experience of successfully design and implementation for cloud based data stores utilising Amazon AWS Have demonstrable experience of Data Modelling, Data Analysis, Data Cleansing, Database Administration Have demonstrable experience of Her Majesty's Passport Office business processes and data stores.
