Tender description

MAG are exploring options for the provision of forecourt management solutions across its group of airports to alleviate congestion and support more efficient vehicle movements within the pick-up / drop-off locations. The options will typically be based around automated barriers, ANPR cameras or similar equipment. The initial deployment is anticipated to be at Manchester Airport forecourts. The contract will be a Framework Agreement for up to 8 years. An indicative requirement for a forecourt management solution which may be deployed as full management or hybrid integrated options, on a project by project basis, may include: — Entry / Exit Barriers, ANPR, Intercoms, Vehicle Detection Loops, Payment on Exit Capability (Cash, Chip and PIN, Contactless Payments), Support and Maintenance arrangements. — Associated Business Management Software (Inc. Barrier Control, Traffic Monitoring, Web / Phone Payment Capability, Vehicle Black Lists etc.) — Capability to Interface with Existing Infrastructure e.g. Car Park Systems, Fire Detection and CCTV Monitoring. — Associated IT hosting requirements (on-site, cloud based etc.).
