Apprentice Training Levy

Tender description

The Council is seeking to establish an Apprenticeship Training Framework Agreement, referred to as the Framework Agreement, which will involve working with a number of Training Providers, to ensure all of the Council’s apprenticeship needs are met, based upon quality of service and delivery and value for money. The Council have opted for this approach in order to ensure that we have maximum flexibility around how many and what type of apprenticeships we wish to develop in accordance with the changing needs within the workforce. The Council is working towards a 2020 Vision which involves a great deal of change and transformation of services, resulting in different delivery models and the acquisition of new skills and ways of doing things. Therefore it is felt that the establishment of an Apprenticeship Framework Agreement will allow us to be more responsive to this. The Council would like to appoint a number of Training Providers who collectively have the capacity and capability to deliver the apprenticeship frameworks and/or standards leading to a range of qualifications identified in the following occupational areas of work.
