This covers the requirement for the Central Line 92TS for the design, manufacture and supply of 8 500 door interlock switch assemblies with actuators. This covers the requirement for the Central Line 92TS for the design, manufacture and supply of 8 500 Door Interlock Switch Assemblies which (which has a safety critical rating of ‘B1 High’) and will consist of a main mounting bracket, a non-contact switch, a magnetic actuator, wiring and mounting fixings and will include a minimum quantity of spares as recommended by Fleet. It is not envisaged that the solution sought will need to be repairable. Hence the requirement is for high life reliability and annual maintenance involving check of set up and functionality will be undertaken by LU staff. Any design offered will have already performed adequate life cycle testing such that prospective suppliers can demonstrate the required life of the product given the duty cycle of at least 150 000 cycles per annum and a total operational life of at least 12 years in LU environment. Ideally, LU would be seeking an option for a solution that would meet a 14 year operational life.
