Tender description
This requirement is for the supply of pumps, motors, gearboxes and associated services and spares. The requirement has been split into the below Lots: The requirement has been divided into the following Lots: — Lot 1: End to end management of Borehole Pumps — Lot 2: Supply of Split Case, End Suction and Vertical Turbine Pumps — Lot 3: Supply of Multistage Pumps and Booster sets — Lot 4: Supply of Progressive Cavity Pumps and spares — Lot 5: Supply of RAM Pumps and spares — Lot 6: Legacy pump spares distribution agreement — Lot 7: Supply and Repair of Motors and Gearboxes (inc submersible pump stator rewinds) The estimated value is between 14 000 000 GBP — 18 000 000 GBP for the initial 3 years of the framework, this value does not include extension options. End to end management of Borehole Pumps; single supplier. STW has an installed base of c350 — 400 Borehole Pumps. This requirement is for the supply of pumps and spares, storage of STW owned pumps, delivery, installation, commissioning and repair of pumps across the entire STW region. This requirement is for the Supply of Split Case, End Suction and Vertical Turbine Pumps and spares. This Lot will have a maximum of 4 suppliers. Requirements for new pumps will be awarded via mini-competition based on the ‘most economically advantageous tender’ on a case by case basis. Requirements for spare parts may be purchased directly from the relevant supplier. This requirement is for the supply of new Multistage Pumps and Booster Sets and spares. This will be awarded to a single supplier. This requirement is for the Supply of Progressive Cavity Pumps and Spares. This framework will be awarded to a single supplier. This requirement is for the supply of RAM Pumps and Spares. This Lot will be awarded to a single supplier. This requirement is for a single supplier to provide a pump and spares distribution service to STW and any of its associated contractors. The supplier must be able to provide pumps and spares for the listed pump manufacturers in the Specification, it is expected that the supplier will have a formal commercial relationship with all of the pump manufacturers listed upon commencement of this agreement. The purpose of this pump/spares distribution agreement is to provide a one-stop shop for a large range of pumps, spares and accessories to be delivered to any part of the STW network. Therefore, we require the distributor to have the relevant capacity and capability to be able to respond quickly and efficiently to multiple requests. A key element of this agreement will be for the supplier to actively seek to reduce STWs spend on pump spares. Therefore the supplier will be required to carry out the following: — Provide an open book costing approach on all pumps and spares, ensuring complete transparency on STW spend on legacy pumps/spares; — Actively seek to reduce the demand for pumps/spares across the STW operation by providing assistance in pump selection and management at no extra cost to STW; — Actively negotiate rate reductions with pump/spares original equipment manufacturers to reduce STW's overall spend; — Suggest alternative sources of supply (to original manufacturers standard) for pumps/spares, work with STW to standardise the range of legacy pumps used; — Provide comprehensive MI on pump/spares usage across STW, identify patterns/trends and suggest measures to reduce demand/spend; — Support STW and its Supply Chain through supply and stocking of pumps/spares including consignment stock at suppliers own site or at STW sites including our 3 regional distribution centres; — Have the flexibility to supply pumps/spares for other pump manufacturers not listed in the specification. This requirement is for 2 suppliers to supply motors and gearboxes and associated repair services to STW, the requirement will cover the below areas, both suppliers will be required to have the capability and capacity to cover all of these areas: — Supply of new motors — including but limited to; single phase, 3 phase 400 V (range up to 700 kw), 600 V — 3 300 V (range up to 1.3 mW), — Supply of new gearboxes, — Repair and rewind of Motors, — Repair of Gearboxes, — Rewind of Submersible Electric Centrifugal Pump Stators, — Repair and re-engineering of pump components Submersible Centrifugal Pumps.
