Tender description

The University Course Enquiries Unit (CEU) wanted to establish a contract with a suitable service provider for the provision of postal services. The provider must offer a high quality service provision with minimal administrative/sortation operations suitable for a small team, and 1 that also demonstrates excellent service and value for money over the entire contract period. The scope of the requirement was for day-to-day postal collections, deliveries and bulk mailing provision for CEU. Most mailings that contain more than a 1 000 postal items are usually considered too large to do in-house at the University. Therefore a similar or alternative service was required for sending out occasional bulk mailings — typically between 4 000 - 18 000 items per mailing, approx. 5 - 6 times per year. These mailings are currently conducted on our behalf by local mailing agents.
