Tender description

Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) requires the services of an impartial and independent Service Provider to monitor and audit TII's contracts and TII funded contracts. The services required consists of auditing contractors and subcontractors and the pay and conditions of employment of personnel. The auditing will test for compliance with the obligations imposed under the relevant contracts and Irish legislation. TII require experienced Employment Practices auditors. Senior management in their organization must demonstrate ten years or more post graduate experience with a minimum of seven years in the management of CIRCS monitoring activities on large capital works projects. Interested applicants must provide evidence of previous auditing services in 3 projects of not be less than 30 000 EUR (excluding VAT). Previous experience should also include 5 years' experience in the field of: contractor labour management of construction labour on major civil engineering projects, dealing with Construction Trade Unions, knowledge of the Registered Employment Agreements (REA) for the construction and electrical contracting industries, capacity to produce and maintain an up-to-date database of construction operatives and experience in the field of employment practices management in the provision of outsourced activities.
