Support contract to improve the Safety Assurance of the Air Defence and Electronic Warfare supported mast systems used for Air Traffic Management Ground to Air (ATM G2A) capabilities in compliance with MOD (DIO) policy for wind sensitive structures (WSS). Total Masts 179. Duration of proposed contract 60 months with an anticpated start date of Dec 17. To provide a Support contract to improve the Safety Assurance of the Air Defence and Electronic Warfare Team Mast Systems used for Air Traffic Management Ground to Air (ATM G2A) capabilities in compliance with MOD (DIO) policy Wind Sensitive Structures (WSS). The requirement is to procure Professional Engineering Services Support to the Air Defence & Electronic Warfare range of Masts that will deliver evidenced safety assurance and result in compliance with DIO WSS safety management policy. The Project will be undertaken over the five year period commencing 2017. Years 1, 2 and 3 will deliver structural inspections, appraisals and any rectification to the entire fleet of 179 Masts. Years 4 — 5 will deliver annual routine masts inspections. No business whatsoever is guaranteed under any resulting framework agreement or contract indeed there is no guarantee that any framework agreement or contract will be put in place in relation to this notice. No compensation etc. will be paid if a tender or resulting framework agreement is withdrawn for any reason. Bidders should take part in the process only on the basis that they fully understand and accept this position.
