Lumps Fort Concession Business Opportunity

Tender description

Portsmouth City Council is inviting tenders from appropriate operators to fit out and run a high quality business at Lumps Fort, Southsea on a full repairing lease basis. The Council is ideally seeking proposals that would be allow the premises to be open by April 2018, however this is not a pass/ fail requirement and the Council is not seeking to limit offers on this basis. The lease will run for an initial term of 10 years extendable in increments to be agreed up to a maximum total term of 20 years. The successful operator will be required to work with the Council and other stakeholders on a partnership basis to ensure that the offer fulfils aspirations on a dynamic basis over the entire course of the agreement. The form of contract utilised to govern the performance will be based on Portsmouth City Council's standard service concession contract.
