Tender description

Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DSRL) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to provide a Scheme Design, Detailed Design, Manufacture, Works Testing, Installation and Inactive Commissioning of a Silo Retrieval System for incorporation into the Silo headworks facility. The is scope of works comprises of the provision of a Silo Retrieval System that will include the following features: — Retrieval Arm Module comprising of a retrieval arm and deployment system; — Gamma gates installed over the silo posting ports; — Waste skip and handling crane; — Pumped sludge and liquid retrieval system; — Spares package; — Associated Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation systems. The Retrieval Arm Module is to be deployed through the existing Silo posting ports to size reduce and load the waste into a waste skip ready for transfer to the processing facility located at the Shaft.
