Tender description

The London Borough of Waltham Forest is procuring a Contract for the Provision of Local Stop Smoking Services with the Council. The aim of the Service is to deliver a needs-led approach to smoking cessation, offering a level of support determined by patients/service users. Objectives. The Objectives of the Council's stop smoking treatment system are as follows: — To support Service Users to quit smoking, by providing appropriate needs-based support; — To ensure that resources are prioritised towards those Service Users with the highest need; — To maximise accessibility of Stop Smoking support by delivering the Service at different times and in different geographical locations, and harnessing existing digital resources and support; — To support activity focused on prevention of smoking uptake, particularly amongst children and young people.
