Tender description

Jisc Services Ltd are seeking a single supplier for the provision of a geospatial platform service. The geospatial platform services are required to provide the academic community with view, and download services for a range of raster and vector geospatial data. Further information is available in the Operational Requirement document via https://procontract.due-north.com/Login/ A single front end geospatial platform service will be provided to subscribing institutions accessing each of the five map and data collections. The geospatial platform service will be available to both the HE and FE sectors. The geospatial platform service must go live on 1.8.2018; the period of time from award of the contract until 1.8.2018 (approximately 10 months) will focus on development, ingesting the data already available to JSL and testing prior to the proposed go live date. The Bidder is not required to source any data or enter into any contractual relationships to obtain data.
