Crescent Road Car Park - Employers Agent

Tender description

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is inviting tenders for the services of an experienced Employers Agent to oversee the concrete repairs and refurbishment works at its Crescent Road Multi Storey Car Park. The proposed works will comprise concrete repairs, resurfacing, line marking, new signage, barrier repairs and renewal, lighting, and associated works. A performance based concrete repair specification has been produced. The refurbishment contract is intended to be let as a single contract to a main contractor, with all refurbishment works delivered within the scope of the contract, supervised and coordinated by the Employers Agent. The works are anticipated to commence in January 2018 although the start date may be altered subject to the proposed commencement of the car park extension, which is also proposed for 2018. The appointed consultant will be required to incorporate the prescribed repairs described in detail in the concrete repair specification by Martech Ltd (provided in the tender documents). The appointed consultant will then develop and prescribe all other works required in the refurbishment to enable successful tendering and appointment of a main contractor to deliver the works specified.
