Tender description

Hampshire County Council's Procurement department on behalf of the North East Schools Consortia, are contracting for Careers Advisory Services. The purpose of this Invitation to Tender (ITT) is to establish a contract whereby deployment of the Careers Advisory Services may take place for services as and when required in line with the specification and terms and conditions of contract as detailed in the procurement documents. The Consortia comprises the following schools: Calthorpe Park School (Consortia lead). The Connaught School. Fernhill School and Language College. Frogmore Community College. Yateley School. Calthorpe Park School will be the lead school for the purposes of this Tender and subsequent Contract. The careers service will support 5 Local Authority maintained secondary schools, to meet their statutory duty for the delivery of independent and impartial careers guidance for young people from years 7 to 11. The Service Provider will be required to carry out the following activities and tasks for each of the listed schools above as part of the delivery model. 40 x 1 day per week in school, term time (1-1 interviews, group work). 3 x evening events (careers, options, yr11). 2 x assemblies (2 x 30 mins, for all age ranges). 1 x Focus day (eg business day etc.). GCSE result support (1 day August) (This is optional and based on individual school requirements). Provide written reports, emailed to the Careers Coordinator, at the end of each day in school, to include students seen, brief description of guidance given and any follow up or action points as required. The Contract is due to commence on 2.10.2017. The Contract will be until 31.8.2019 with the option to extend in annual increments until 31 August 2023 (2 years +1+1+1+1). The extension periods will be based on performance and with prior agreement of the parties.
