Tender description

Under regulation 72(c), the council will extend the current arrangement until 1.4.2018 whilst the impacts of changes of the future funding formula are reviewed. The specialist placement service in an alternative learning environment based in Scunthorpe, focused on providing high quality learning, but also offering a nurturing environment that will help pupils to overcome personal challenges and, where possible, re-integrate into mainstream schooling. The nature of pupils requiring support includes KS3 secondary age pupils with a statement, requiring intensive support due to significant emotional/behavioural/social needs and KS4 secondary age pupils with challenging behaviour and/or social/emotional needs. These pupils are typically those who exhibit challenging behaviour and who schools are struggling to engage through remedial strategies’.
