Tender description

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) are seeking proposals for the re-design of the existing cooler group arrangement on the fleet of 2600 and 2800 DMU. The re-design will encompass a fin-less solution for the water radiators and a floating fin-less type radiator for transmission oil cooling as one package in accordance with drawing No. 3227-042-107 (attached to this notice). The proposed equipment/design will be required to; a. Deliver reliability and performance improvements; b. Reduce the maintenance and cleaning of the current system; c. Meet the required air flow rate with fin-less core design; d. Reduce vibrations to the outer radiators on the Cluster assembly unit; and e. Be maintenance free for a minimum of 4 years.
