Parkfields Surgery in Derby (Caretaker Opportunity)

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (Arden & GEM CSU) on behalf of Southern Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (SDCCG) and NHS England (North Midlands) is asking for expressions of interest from providers who would be interested in taking on a caretaker contract for a GP Surgery in Derby on a short term APMS Contract from the 1st April 2017 for a period of up to 12 months (6 months plus 6 month notice period). Key points for consideration for interested providers are:- • Must be able to demonstrate an ability to mobilise to service provision within a short time frame. • Requires recruitment to GP positions as the two current partners are to resign and retire respectively. During the caretaking arrangement, it is envisaged that the long term future of the service will be determined through public consultation and, depending on the outcome of the consultation; a possible re-procurement will be undertaken. The practice was inspected by the CQC in December 2015 and was given an overall rating of “Requires Improvement”.
