Who Speclialist Work With Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Project Team, NERIMNET Project Manager (ISS Develop Networks Acquisition) and other key stakeholders in Corsham, Northwood & London What Specialists Work On Ensure quality of service delivered for all procurements meets required standards, during procurement and delivery. • Maintain the Authority ITEAP. • Define/deliver and implement Authority’s Test Strategy, Test Plan • Assure Supplier’s Test Policy, TS, Release TP; • Provide bid evaluation input / SME in negotiations • Define/build QA team, working with business stakeholders to recruit expertise according to Authority TS; • Work with stakeholders to define Authority non-live test environments; • Produce reports on Authority testing outcomes and progress; • Review, assure and agree Supplier testing outcome reports • Report weekly, attend meetings as required." Skills & Experience • 5 Years experience working as a QA/Test Manager on agile application delivery projects with WLC £50M or more - 22% • Demonstrable delivery and execution of test strategies and test plans with measurable outcomes contributing to achieve delivery - 22% • Has experience in creating test capability for a business project by building the appropriate team and leading them through the project lifecycle - 16% • Has experience of working on at least one project where they have built testing capability within an organisation as a customer procuring a business application from a supplier - 14% • Has experience in coordinating testing across multiple suppliers - 10% Nice to Haves • Has experience working as a QA Manager or Test manager on projects working to the Government Digital Service Design Manual - 6% • Previous experience in Government business application delivery - 5% • Previous experience working on safety critical systems or systems deemed to be critical national infrastructure - 5% Work Location London SW1 and MOD Corsham, Wiltshire Working Arrangments A total of 126 days over 11 months - 3 days per week increasing to 5 days per week towards the end of the contract. Only one per company/agency. 5. What is the maximum number of pages of CV and Font Size? The maximum number of pages per CV is 4 sides of A4 in Arial, font size 12. Any CV which is longer than the specified limits will be truncated and only the [4] four sides of A4 will be evaluated. 6. Can bidders include Links within CV or embed or attached files to email submission? No. The response should be ‘self contained’ i.e. do not link to external information as it will NOT be evaluated. Do not ‘embed or attach’ files or other ‘objects’ within any of the documents or to your email response – they will not be opened (nor evaluated). 7. Will all responses automatically be evaluated? NO. THE AUTHORITY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY RESPONSE WHICH IS HAS NOT FOLLOWED THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS OR IS OUTSIDE THE BUDGET ENVELOPE. 8. Do candidates have to hold current SC Clearance? Candidates can apply that do not have current SC Clearance provided they are willing to obtain it. 9. What is the procurement timescales for this requirement? The timescales are as follows; Deadline for applications 2359 hrs on 30th January Deadline for CVs and SC Details (if held) 2359 hrs on 31st January Interviews will be held w/c 13th February in Corsham, Wiltshire. If you have not been notified that your candidate has been successful in securing an interview by 1700 hrs Wednesday 08th February presume this means your submission will not be taken forward. 10. The contract location is listed as London, with the address where the work will take place as London and Corsham. Can we check that London is the primary site? 2. The Q&As state that the interviews will be held in Corsham, if the primary location is London could the interviews be held in London as well? London is the primary location.Interviews are to be held in Corsham.
