Tender description

The supply of invasive pressure monitoring kits and haemodynamic monitoring consumables for the monitoring of cardiac output, oxygenation and velocity of the blood flow through the aorta. The scope of this framework agreement includes single, double, triple, quad line invasive kits, transducers, haemodynamic device consumables and associated hardware (the Goods). The duration of the Framework Agreement will be 4 years maximum; 2 years initial period with the option of extending for up to 24 months. Under this Lot the supplier will provide invasive pressure monitoring consumable kits; single, double, triple, quad line variations. These kits are sterile, single-use and relay information regarding pressure within the body from a catheter to the bedside monitor. There is a requirement for suppliers to provide ongoing product training and clinical support throughout the lifetime of the contract, to ensure safe, appropriate and effective use of products by clinical persons. Under this Lot the supplier will provide haemodynamic device consumables. Products to be included within Lot 2 are pulmonary artery catheters (including CCO/SvO2 catheters), oesophageal dopplers and any additional haemodynamic monitoring devices for cardiac, fluid and drug management. Suppliers successfully awarded to Lot 1 and 2 will automatically qualify to be included in Lot 3. Lot 3 may be used by one or more Participating Authorities who wish to aggregate their spend and contractually commit in advance to purchasing a specified value and/or volume of their requirements from 1 or more Product Groups. The Authorities may enter into a further competition to drive price efficiencies pursuant to this Lot.
