Tender description

The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for the supply of a Steel/Nickel Base (Air) Heat Treatment Facility for use within the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre's Castings Group at Catcliffe, Rotherham. Scope of Requirement: The requirement is for a Steel (Air) Heat Treatment Facility which has the ability to heat treat steel/Nickel based castings up to 1 250°C. It is envisaged that the facility will consist of two furnaces, a transfer system, quench tank, and all appropriate ancillary equipment for the complete heat treatment of castings. Supply, delivery, Installation and commissioning of the equipment as per the specification of the requirement within the ITT.
