Laser Micromachining system for maskless high resolution etching of polymers and other materials.This specification is for a turnkey laser micromachining system, for use at NIBEC at the University of Ulster, for the purposes of fabricating microfluidic channels and through holes in thermoplastics such as PMMA (acrylic), COC and COP (Cyclic Olefin Polymer and Co-polymer), PS (polystyrene), PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), PI (polyimide), and other materials such as PDMS (polydimethyl siloxane rubber), ceramic substrates, glass and thin metal layers on polymer or glass.
