NHS England North (Lancashire) commissioning team are hosting a market engagement event to discuss the upcoming procurement of orthodontics in Lancashire. We would like to use this event to support any potential bidders with understanding the new process for applications now that we are using a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). This facilitated event will primarily focus on but not be limited to: — Explaining the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS); — Application support; — Expert advice from a procurement bid writer; — the Oral Health Needs Assessment for orthodontics; — Proposed lots for procurement. NHS England is committed to improving services and has an opportunity to improve, re-develop and re-commission the current orthodontics pathways. GDPs, specialist orthodontists and secondary care dental service providers are cordially invited to attend and contribute to the discussions and help inform the future strategy. Market Engagement Event The event will be held on Thursday 26.1.2017 at NHS England (North) Lancashire, Preston Business Centre, Watling Street Road, Fulwood, Preston, Lancashire, PR2 8DY from 16:00 - 20:00 (presentations start 16:30).
