Tender description

— NHS South Cheshire and NHS Vale Royal Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) seek to re-commission a Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) service for adults. The CCGs desired outcome is a model which provides an ‘end-to-end’ service for patients including, assessment, diagnosis and full-management of DVT, in accordance with NICE clinical guidance. — The service provider will develop a locally-based DVT diagnosis, treatment and management service with a clear focus on quality of care, clinical safety, patient experience, cost effectiveness and improvement of outcomes. — The CCGs will award to a single Provider and will be contracted on block basis. The intention is that the contract will be awarded by the end of February 2017 to commence 1.4.2017 or earlier. However, this may be subject to change.
