Tender description

The Council has gone out to tender with the intention of awarding a single contract which delivers 2 elements of support for disabled Children and Young People and those with emerging additional needs. These 2 elements are the Referral Scheme and Community Support. Bids are invited from suitably experienced, qualified and competent Providers as well as from a group of Providers acting as a consortium, albeit such ‘consortium bids’ should make clear which organisation is taking the lead. In addition, such bids should also include details of protocols to be used in the management of activities within the team. The successful Tenderer will be awarded the Contract on the basis of the most economically advantageous proposal, having regard to the price and quality of the proposals. The Council will not be bound to accept any proposal received or to award any contract pursuant to the ITT.
