Tender description

The London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham is considering the establishment of an Integrated Family Support Service (IFSS), which will enable a systemic integration of budgets, workforces and professional practice across a range of 0-18, family and health services. The Council is exploring the creation of an innovative special purpose vehicle (SPV), and is keen to explore the potential to establish a joint venture company with sector providers. Should the proposal be accepted by the Council's Cabinet, a procurement exercise would then be conducted to seek a supplier or suppliers to partner in the SPV. The Council also wishes to explore the potential to include some or all of its existing Adult Social Care assessment and provider services. In order for the Council to engage early with the market we intend to hold a Bidders' Day on Friday 3rd February, between 14:00-16:30 at Hammersmith Town Hall. Services will include; Children's Centres, Youth Provision, Family Services Early Help Services, Health Visiting, School Nursing, Healthy Schools, Substance Misuse, Sexual Health. The Council also wishes to explore the inclusion of some or all of its Adult Social Care assessment and provider services. The IFSS will deliver improved outcomes through the provision of high quality effective whole family early intervention, delivered in the community. The IFSS will be an integral part of a whole system strategy to prevent needs escalating, thus managing demand on specialist tier 4 services.
