Tender description

The aim is to encourage and support people to access healthy living opportunities whether they are available independently in the local community or are directly commissioned by Knowsley MBC or other responsible authorities. Co-ordinated function helping people to access lifestyle information/opportunities. Receive advice, information, motivation support and be signposted to other services. Support via the health trainers to make a significant contribution to the healthy lifestyle agenda in Knowsley. MECC enables the opportunistic delivery of consistent and concise healthy lifestyle information and enables individuals to engage in conversation about their health across organisation and populations. Aimed at Primary School age children and the wider family to improve their knowledge and skills around diet, weight, physical activity and well-being. As part of the healthy weight offer for residents of KMBC to enable residents over the age of 16 years with BMI>25 to access 12 weeks of weight management support.
