Tender description
Gloucestershire County Council is looking for a provider to deliver its telecare monitoring service for the period of 1.1.2017 to 31.12.2018 with the option to extend for 2 further periods of 1 year each. The Telecare service enables users to live at home, with the assurance that help is remotely available when required. At present there are approximately 2 000 users of the service. The Telecare service helps people live independently at home. The Telecare call monitoring service is alerted when a person activates their telecare alarm. The provision is call centre based, and has to be available to take calls 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. Tenders were sought from companies registered under ESPO agreement 203-15.
