Summary of the work Update and creation of Environment Agency Asset Management Data Flow Maps. Specialist role Business analyst Expected Contract Length Till 31st March 2017 Latest start date 13/02/2017 Maximum Day Rate £600 Who Speclialist Work With National Asset Management teams What Specialists Work On 1. Review and quality check existing Data Flow Maps 2. Work with business areas to update existing Data Flow Maps 3. Where needed, create new Data Flow Maps 4. Create high level overview Data Flow Map, linking maps together Skills & Experience • know how to use Sparx Enterprise Architect software • know how to use the above software to manage, create and update Data Flow Maps • have background knowledge of the concept and management of Data Flow Maps Nice to Haves Experience of working in the public sector Work Location This job can be done remotely, but face to face meetings will be needed in either our Bristol or London offices to show and report progress periodically. Note, travel costs are not provided by the Environment Agency for this work. Working Arrangments Remote working is acceptable, but plan for 2-3 face to face meetings in London or Bristol (travel expenses are not provided) . Telecons will be scheduled once per week, or more frequently as necessary. No. of Specialists to Evaluate 4 Cultural Fit Criteria • Be confident working independently • Be transparent and collaborative when making decisions • Take responsibility for their work Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 40% Cultural fit 10% Price 50% Questions from Suppliers 1. Is pro-rata part time working possible & how flexible is the working week? Can it work around a couple of pre-booked appointments that our resource has over the next month, as long as the hours are maintained? Yes pro-rota and flexible week is possible, as long as the primary task is completed in the time available. You will need to provide timesheets to show hours worked.
