Tender description
The City of Wolverhampton Council has commissioned a support service under the Home Office Syrian Vulnerable Person Resettlement (VPR) Programme. It is our intention to resettle approximately twenty (20) people per year for the next 5 years. The provider shall provide the following service: Provision of suitable furnished accommodation; Provision of interpretation and translation; General Orientation — promoting independence; Support Planning; Key working; Identified housing is fit for purpose; Housing related support; Referral to Health Care — including access to Primary and Secondary care; Access to Education — both adults and children; Assessment and delivery of ESOL by an accredited provider; Benefits Advice; Maximising Employment and Training opportunities; Wellbeing Care and support — Clothing, food, including integration into local communities, access to leisure facilities and or social groups. Referral to relevant organisation to meet the identified needs of the service user.
