Commissioning a Positive Behavioural Support programme in Bradford via a Social Impact Bond funding model.

Tender description

The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council’s Children’s Services Dept. is proposing to commission a Positive Behavioural Support Service to prevent children and young people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours from entering full time residential care. It is proposed that this will be funded via a Social Impact Bond. The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council will be the lead commissioner for a service that meets Social Care, Education and Health needs. The service will be co-commissioned by CMBDC, the Schools Forum, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven CCG, Bradford City CCG and Bradford Districts CCG. The Big Lottery will contribute to the funding of successful outcomes delivered by the new service through its ‘Commissioning Better Outcomes’ fund.
