Tender description

Warrington Borough Council is looking to place a contract with a bank for the provision of bank accounts, deposits, interest rates and overdraft facility. Warrington Borough Council serves a local population of nearly 207,000 people represented by 57 Councillors from 22 wards. Policy is implemented by the Chief Executive who heads up the workforce through the Executive Directors of the various Council Directorates. Between them they manage an annual budget of approximately £134 million. The budget is split between Council activities as follows:- Resources & Strategic Commissioning 8% Families & Wellbeing 66% Economic Regeneration, Growth & Environment 13% Corporate Finance 13% Warrington Borough Council is looking to place a contract with a bank for the provision of bank accounts, deposits, interest rates and overdraft facility. The contract comes into effect on 1st September 2017 for a period of 3 years with the option to renew on an annual basis thereafter within a maximum contract term of 5 years. Keywords: Banking
