The Council owns, operates and hires a diverse range of vehicles ranging from small cars and vans, light and heavy commercials, passenger vehicles, refuse collection vehicles. The Council's fleet is managed and maintained by the Council's Fleet team and workshop based at Southcote Road. The workshop operates 52 weeks a year. It's opening hours are 5:30 — 19:00, Monday — Friday. The operation of the Council's fleet is essential to the delivery of front line services, which have an affect on the lives of the residents and visitors to Bournemouth.
