Tender description

The Council is progressing an ambitious development of its services in line with the Care Act policy drivers. The objective will be to intervene and support people earlier, reduce, defer and delay the need for more intensive support to help people be as independent as possible The Council intends to commission additional capacity for social care domiciliary reablement. This will be aligned across health and social care offering services, between hospital and home which enable people to retain and or maintain independent living. Support shall be provided in a manner which offers confidentiality, respect, dignity and privacy and does not erode the Service User's capacity for self-care or the contribution made by family or carers, this is in line with the ethos of reablement for Service Users that supports every person to maximize their potential for independence Additional information available on: www.wolverhamptontenders.com The Council will be holding a supplier engagement day on 4 August 17 from between 10:00 - 12:00. The event will provide an opportunity for The Council to engage with the market and hear from potential suppliers who would like to find out more about the requirement and meet with Commissioners.
