Tender description

The Council is seeking tenders to establish a Framework Agreement with suitable Contractors to supply Rock Salt for Winter Highway Maintenance. The Council is looking to award up to 3 contractors onto the Framework. The requirements are for the following Council Authorities: Dorset County Council (Dorset Highways Operations), Borough of Poole, Bournemouth Borough Council. The Framework shall be for a period of up to 4 years, in the term of a 36 month initial period with one 12-month optional extension (subject to satisfactory performance). The anticipated Framework start date is 1.10.2017. The estimated value over the potential 4-year life of the Framework is 800 000 GBP based upon rock salt volumes purchased over recent years.
