Tender description

The London Borough of Croydon invites tenders for the provision of Internal Audit and Anti-Fraud Services. The Successful Service Provider will be required to provide a professional and effective Internal Audit Service based on CIPFA's Code of Practice for Internal Audit in Local Government in the UK and Anti-Fraud Services to the Council and, potentially, to the NHS, Registered Social Landlords, Public Pension Funds and other Local Authorities. It is the preliminary view of the Council that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 are likely to apply. The framework contract will be for 6 years with the option to extend up to 2 further years and the justifications for the long term agreement are due to Best Value considerations and to address any potential investment required by the provider.
