Tender description

Northamptonshire County Council (NCC) wishes to appoint Providers to supply home care services in Operational Zones. NCC aims to award 15 four-year-services contracts with an option to extend for one additional year. The contracts will be awarded to Lead Providers, who will achieve 70-80 % of the available volume of home care in each Operational Zone. Home care Providers currently operating under the NCC Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) will continue in a secondary role in each Operational Zone. Providers are encouraged and invited to tender to become a Lead Provider for Operational Zones within a pre-set fixed Payment Rate. Providers may tender for as few/many Operational Zones that they chose, however, the number of Operational Zones awarded to any single Provider will be limited. It is intended that NCC will allow other contracting authorities, such as Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), NHS Nene and NHS Corby to access services under these Contracts.
