Tender description
In this instance, ESPO is working on behalf of Leicestershire County Council to establish a multi supplier framework agreement for the provision of accommodation with varying levels of support for young people aged16+. The service will provide flats or rooms within shared housing, with support staff available on-site. The support element is aimed at providing service users with the life skills required to seek their own accommodation and sustain long-term independent tenancy. Eligible service users include young people aged 16+ who are looked after by or leaving the care of the Council,including unaccompanied asylum seekers (UASC) and those in the criminal justice system who cannot return home for bail or remand purposes. 16+ Supported Accommodation Services. The figure below is based on actual spend from January to December 2016, for Lots 1 and 2 the indicative 4 year value is 1 608 000 GBP. For the purposes of this document this amount has been evenly split between the lots, however demand between the individual lots may vary as currently young people are placed in the accommodation available and not necessarily in accommodation that fully suits their needs. Overall demand is variable therefore a maximum total framework value is anticipated to be around 5 000 000 GBP. Supported Accommodation Services.
