Tender description

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS England Midlands and East (Central Midlands) invited suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver Unscheduled Dental Care Services in Hertfordshire. The Procurement consisted of two geographically based lots. The Commissioners were looking for provider(s) to deliver an Unscheduled Dental Care service providing assessment and treatment for residents and visitors between 18:00 and 20:00 on weekdays and between 12:00 and 20:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays. These appointments were to be pre-bookable appointments made by the NHS 111 triage service. The service was split into Lots to cover the East and North Hertfordshire and Herts Valleys CCG Boundary areas. As a result of this procurement exercise an agreement has been established with the successful Bidder for a period of 5 years. The contracts for this service is a Personal Dental Services (PDS) Agreement, with a Service commencement date of 29.6.2017. Please see Lot 1 for a description of Services.
