Clerking Services to the College (Clerk to the Corporation)

Tender description

This Tender is for the provision of Clerking Services to the College (Clerk to the Corporation). We are looking for a named individual to carry out the role. (Note. If the bidder is subject to IR35 regulation, the College reserves the right to withhold PAYE and NI as appropriate.) Please note that the post will also advertised as a job vacancy on the College website (http://www.cityofbristol.ac.uk/jobs/ ) with similar timeframes. We will only accept applications through either this tender process or the recruitment process and not both. Any conflict of interest relating to this must be immediately declared. The College reserves the right not to award a contract as a result of this procurement process, and will not be liable for any of the bidders' costs in submitting a bid. The Contract Duration will initially be for a period of two years (1 September 2017-31 August 2019), with a provision for further 1 year extension which, if taken, would give a final end date of 31 August 2020. The College will reappoint the Clerk formally each year conditional on its satisfaction with the quality and value of the service. The estimated value of the contract, with the extension, is in the region of £90,000. Full details can be found in the ITT document.
