Tender description

We wish to establish a national framework consisting of two Lots, each for the supply, to different Defra organisations, of ride on embankment cutters and associated equipment. Lot 1 will cover the supply of 65 — 75 horsepower machines and fittings/accessories. Lot 2 will cover the supply of 95 — 110 horsepower machines and fittings/accessories. We are seeking tenders from either manufacturers or dealerships able to provide equipment of the required standards. Bidders are invited to tender for either or both Lots. Each Lot will be evaluated and awarded separately. Although the majority of our requirements for the next four years will be as specified in the tender, it is likely that we will sometimes have bespoke requirements for other, as yet unknown and unspecified equipment. This equipment is likely to consist of other types of embankment cutter and associated equipment and other construction equipment, including, but not limited to remote and pedestrian mowers. Supply of 65 — 75 horsepower embankment cutters and fittings/accessories. Supply of 95 — 110 horsepower embankment cutters and fittings/accessories.
