SPS00608 Provision of HbA1c measurement, serum and urine electrophoresis and immunifixation testing services

Tender description

The publication of this notice is to give advance notice that the Clinical Chemistry Department of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust intends to undertake a tendering exercise for the provision of HbA1c measurement, serum and urine electrophoresis and immunifixation testing services contract. The Contracting Authority is looking to let one contract with two lots and suppliers will be able to bid for one or both lots: - - Lot 1 – HbA1c measurement testing - Lot 2 – Serum and urine electrophoresis and immunifixation testing Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust intends to undertake a tendering exercise for the provision of a 5 year contract, with an option to extend for a further 2 years for the equipment, reagents and services including IT connectivity into either our Laboratory information system (DXC Telepath) or laboratory middleware (Instrument manager) to replace our existing HbA1c analysers, automated capillary electrophoresis and gel system for Clinical Chemistry. The publication of this notice also provides information for potential tenderers to register for an upcoming supplier event. We would like to invite parties interested in tendering for the contract to an open day on 27 July 2017 at Northumbria house, 7/8 Silver Fox Way, Cobalt Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE27 0QJ to present information on how the needs of the HbA1C and serum and urine electrophoresis testing services could be met.
