Tender description

Monaghan Leisure Complex is wholly owned by Monaghan County Council who has full ownership of the Leisure Centre located at Mullaghcroghery, Clones Road, Monaghan. The Complex opened to the public in August 2006. Monaghan County Council seeks applications from suitably qualified Leisure Management Companies with proven experience in the management of leisure facilities to manage, operate and maintain the Leisure Complex. The chosen operator will manage a commercially viable facility which will generate income to invest and improve the facilities on offer to the public. The facility must also continue to serve the needs and requirements of the local community and groups / clubs who use the facility. Contract duration 5 years (with the option of 2 further, 2-year extensions at the discretion of Monaghan County Council). Monaghan County Council now seeks to appoint a suitably qualified Leisure Management Company with proven experience in the management of leisure facilities to manage, operate and maintain Monaghan Leisure Complex in a manner that meets high levels of customer service and all statutory obligations in relation to Health and Safety, Protection of the Environment and Employee rights.
