Tender description

The School of Civil Engineering at the University of Leeds is seeking tenders for Test Chambers and Test Environments. The equipment will be part of a National Centre for Infrastructure Materials funded as part of UKCRIC (UK Collaboratorium for Research in Infrastructure and Cities). This National Centre will be a focus for research on the deterioration of infrastructure materials (cement, concrete, metals, masonry, timber, glass and soils) and will build on the University of Leeds' reputation for work on cement and concrete. The equipment will be tendered as Lots: Lot 1 — Alkali Silica Reactor Lot 2 — Benchtop Chambers, Climatic & Conditioning Lot 3 — Corrosion Chamber Lot 4 — Curing Tanks. The supply, installation and commissioning of 1x Alkali Silica Reactor. The supply, installation and commissioning of 2x Climatic Chambers and 2x Conditioning Chambers. The supply, installation and commissioning of 1x Cyclic Corrosion Chamber. The supply, installation and commissioning of 3x Standard Curing Tanks, 3x Large Curing Tanks, 4x High and Low Temperature Curing Tanks.
