Tender description

The London Borough of Camden (‘the Council’) in partnership with the London Boroughs of Islington, Enfield and Haringey seeks to award a contract for the provision of a programme Supporting Women's Safe Engagement and Recovery. This multi-Borough service will work with women experiencing severe and multiple disadvantage (SMD) covering: — a combination of domestic violence and abuse; — women at risk of homelessness; — substance misuse and, — mental health problems. The specialist programme seeks to meet the needs of this particular cohort through working at their pace, forming a trusting relationship, and empowering practitioners to provide a more integrated service. The contract will be for an initial period of one year anticipated to commence in December 2017 with the option of a one-year extension. Camden as Lead Borough and in partnership with Haringey, Islington and Enfield, have achieved funding from the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) 2016/18 Fund, for the provision of specialist accommodation based support and service reform, to meet the Priorities for Domestic Abuse Services.
