Tender description

The University of Birmingham invites tenders for supply of an Imaging Flow Cytometer to complement the Technology Hub's stable of flow cytometers and cell sorters. The cytometer will need to be versatile; as a part of a core facility with multiple users it is envisaged that it will be used in the analysis of a wide range of cell types. It must be able to analyse both human and other mammalian cells. The requirement includes: — At least 3 lasers (405, 488, 642 nm); — Delivery and installation of the imaging system on university site; — Training users on university site; — At least 12 months warranty with possible extension; — System to be upgradable in future with additional lasers.
