Quotation for Buggy Walks across Sandwell Sandwell \"Council\" is seeking to appoint an experienced provider to deliver a comprehensive, high quality and cost effective programme of Buggy Walks across Sandwell. Local research undertaken by Cordis Bright in Sandwell (2016) highlighted; • Parents would like health and wellbeing activities including \"general fitness to lose weight gained during pregnancy\". • These should be delivered in line with the maternity pathway; in local accessible and trusted venues and by such trusted professionals. The service is a town based approach and must be needs I insight led. The provider will be monitored and managed closely against the service aims, description and KPls outlined in the specification. The outcomes must ensure: 1. Engage with relevant services in the maternal and post-natal field such as (not exclusive of, or limited) to; Health Visitors, Children's Centres, Family Information Service, Maternal Wellbeing Team. 2. Develop volunteers to take ownership of, and lead the buggy walks as a means of sustainability. 3. Provide clear exit routes into either community or other appropriate physical activity, in which participants are encouraged to continue their physical activity journey.
